I like coming up with silly things to do with yarn leftovers. I also have a dog who loves to play dress-up. This evening, I combined these two facts and decided to whip out a beanie for my beagle. It's not very fancy, and looks pretty absurd, but I had a fun time making it! It took all of 15 minutes, but afforded me hours of fun laughing at my dogs.


Rosie wearing the hat. I swear she likes it... she just doesn't like having her picture taken.


Just another angle. This picture makes me laugh.



I just had to include this. It's just too funny. My mutt LOVES having her picture taken, but hates wearing clothes. She kept trying to get my attention, so I put the hat on her and took a picture. Half a second later, the hat was off and flying across the room. You win some, you lose some, I guess.

Do you have a tutorial for this beanie?  I'm a newb when it comes to knitting, so I need a pattern cos I'm not cool enough to make it up as I go.
I also love her jacket.  Very spiff!!
Kudos!!  (I love dressing up my little dog--man, it's like this horrible addiction I have... I make her "doggy tubes"...old shirts I cut the sleeves off of and felt funky faces on them.  last one I did she was ICE BAT!)
