Is there anything that can be done to soften up itchy wool?  I bought some 100% wool yarn for cheap on ebay because I wanted something easily blockable to try to start knitting lace with, and the colors were really nice.  Unfortunately, when I got it, it isn't very soft at all, and I'm pretty sensitive to wool to begin with... Help??

if you type "softening yarn" into the search field at the top of the page, you'll get threads about this very topic.
