Can anyone recommend some good yarn shops in London? I will be there for 10 days in late June and I would like to do some yarn shopping... Thanks!

A lot depends on what you are after and how much time you have.

John Lewis in Oxford Street and Liberty's in Regent Street are the most central. Liberty's knitting group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday in the month from 5pm in the Art Bar Cafe.

If you want a lys that is also the only London stockist of Colinette yarn and Touch Yarn from NZ then you need to go to Creations in Church Road, Barnes ( about 10 minutes by bus from Hammersmith)
