Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for a lower case backstitching alphabet? I can only find capitol letters but that won't work for what I'm doing.
 thanks in advance!

Here are some alphabets. http://crossstitch.about.com/library/freepatterns/alphabets/blmenu_alphabets.htm I'm on dial up so I only checked one - the Itty Bitty one and it is lowercase.

And here is a pretty one, all these patterns are free the very first one at the bottom is the alphabet one. http://www.victoriasampler.com/VS_Club/Free_Patterns/index.asp
