I needed more space in my kitchen for the ever-growing supply of gadgets and cookware. I wanted one of those neat chef carts to hang my pots from (since I can't drill into the walls here), but they were WAY overpriced! So with the help of a dear friend I managed to piece this together from:

2 2x4s
2 2x2s
wire shelving from Lowe's
a few dowel rods
coat hooks
cup hooks

The fasteners cost more than anything else, really. The wood was around 10 bucks, the paint was 2, the shelving was 16 bucks (for 12 feet).

It's awesome, I love it! It makes everything so accesible. If you are a cook you should make one.
