Two things I'm tossing out here....

While basking in the sun today, I thought that an "Out of season" theme swap might be fun... Now, I'll be the first to admit that the sun might of just totally warped my brain...  but I thought it'd be at least amusing to in the Summer do a swap of "Wintery" items and in the Winter do a swap of "Summery" items...  Grin

As far as setting up a price limit goes.. Even if a price limit was a factor, I feel we would still see a variety in the amount/type of items swapped... One person could of found enough yarn for a sweater for $10 vs. a person who picked up two skiens of yarn for a scarf for $10. So to me in an item swap, having a price limit would still yield similar results as we see now.

How about a magnet swap?

That would be good for people on a budget and postage would be cheap.

Some people were talking about a fabric swap. I would love to participate in one of those.

I am going to start a fabric swap now! I think we'll start with just a metre and see how it works out. Maybe next time we can do more!

Hey guys...

What about a pillowcase swap? It could be handmade-from-scratch or reconstructed from something, or even an accessorized original pillowcase?

It's something everyone uses everyday + it'll be cheap to mail out.

How about that? Grin
