Hello the company I work for had some stickers printed, 74 thousand to be exact, but the company that printed them accidently printed them the wrong size. So instead of throwing them away I opted to take them home.
But what the heck can I do with 'em???

They're approx  1.25 inches by .5 inches
Here's what they look like

with so many maybe you can entirely cover an ugly old piece of furniture or a filing cabinet ??

Find people who are getting married that day. Or hey check the papers for kids born on that day and send them all a TON, it might be fun.

You could take paint markers or sharpies, or you could decoupage over the design, and have customizable stickers.  That would be great for a customized piece of art of furniture but it would be labor intensive

I"d suggest looking up people that wanted them for weddings or invitations etc as well>

Heh... printing 74 thousand stickers wrong is a big mistake!
Throw a party on that day and make 74000 invitations  Grin

Or not. You'd need a pretty big house.

Sending them to people who have a baby on that day is a good idea. And so is the wedding one. If you can't think of anything by July 31st 2006, just cut off the 2006 and give us all another year or so to think of something...   Wink

I'm not advocating doing this, but it would be a fun social science experiment to post them all over town and see if there is any sort of response. Think how curious everyone would be if they saw those everywhere.

It would probably disturb conspiracy theory people, though, so you'd really best not...

i can't help but wonder, what's the significance of the date? i really think that's a cool idea to post them all around town. i love seeing those crazy spray-painted designs on lightposts and trashcans. that's cool.

Oohh yes, post them all around town. People would start thinking the apocalypse was coming or something. A friend of mine is posting pictures of angry leprechauns all over school, and the reaction is hilarious. Last valentines day someone drew all these little roses and stuck them EVERYWHERE. Like in almost ever classroom, on the roof, on posts, on the outside of building, in toilets. I have no idea how they got them everywhere without being found...

If you don't have a use for them, send me a thousand or two. It's no loss because you've got 74 thou of them...

Huh, it's the day after my sisters 30th birthday so I'm bummed they're not a day earlier cos I could have swapped some of them off your hands!

I like the posting around town idea, I collect pictures of the mad things people stick in random places, things like that always raise a grin Grin
