Hi all!  Just wondering if anyone would like to knit up the Corinne Dress from

http://www.knittingfog.net/index.html

I've already finished the ruffles and am hoping to get it done for New Year's so I can have the perfect little black dress.  Anyone in?

I'm actually using Patons Lacette which is a nylon/acrylic/mohair blend.  I made Rowan Butterfly a while ago and I really love how that top fit me and how well it molded to my body.  So, I decided to use mohair again, and being on the college student budget I opted for a cheaper mohair blend ... patons was about $6 a skein and I only needed to buy 3 of them.  Let me know what kind of yarn you find and how it knits up.  I'm interested to see how much different the cotton turns out looking than the mohair.

ooh, good a knitalong for this.
i posted on the butterfly-along but i started this.

i started a couple of times using the arisaig lace pattern instead...but i think i'll stick with the parachute pattern instead because somehow the numbers never work out.

i am down to join this knitalong - i am only about halfway through the ruffles right now, and i am using debbie bliss's wool cotton blend because i wanted to control the qualities of cotton that make it kind of bad for lace. so far it is looking good. i will post a picture when i am done with the ruffle, if anyone wants.
