I'm in Sasktoon, what did you craft during the blizzard?
I was teaching out of town and got stuck at my parents with zero craft supplies and 2 snow days off work.  I was miserable!!

That blizzard was so terrible! Lucky for us SE people, it totally missed our little corner of the province. I told my family that this was the first time I ever remember Saskatoon having more snow than us.

whenever i run into displaced prairie people we always bond over our love of MCCs and how miserable the MCCs in BC are.

I was just complaining to my partner the other day that the vancouver MCC is horrible!! being from ON he had no idea what MCC was and couldn't comiserate on the crappiness of BC MCC's!

I'm in Regina!  Check out the Blue Mantle's new thrift shop across from Value Village (on 9th ave. or whatever street that is... not Albert). They often have some awesome stuff, and sometimes they even have "anything you can fit into a grocery bag for $5" sales... and you can get a lot in a grocery bag if you're motivated.

the two in abbotsford are MUCH better than vancouver and surrey, but they're all the way out THERE...

once every few years i trek out to the valley and go to the thrift stores!
