I have been here a while.  Getting a little sick of the crime rate going up though.  Oh well.  What are your favorite craft supply stores? (Besides Michaels)

There isn't alot out there besides micheals in my area, just the dollar store and walmart.  Kindof sucks.

Could you incorporate the "100 years of heart" idea into something more native themed.  Or maybe a flying eagle......I always love those.

Sorry, not alot of ideas here.

I'll never forget saskatoon i have too many friends here, I'll probably end up coming back a lot.

I've been lurking at craftster for a while but finally decided it was time to join, I'm just glad to see crafters, and the knitting area is amazing.

Well, I've been a crafster member for a long time and never actually checked this section before. I live in the south east, sadly with no craft stores, no wallmart and no dollar store. Amazing what you can find at the co-op! I have emassed quite a collection of craft supplies and have been swapping them everywhere but Saskatchewan. Any of you want to swap? Postage would be a heck of a lot cheaper! Smiley Happy crafting, d

Well, I'm not really looking for much. I'm more interested in downsizing my unwanted craft items. Usually, I swap for a finished craft and i send a package of supplies that the other person can use. My problem is, I live in the middle of nowhere, so all 80 people in my town just give me stuff because I'm 'crafty'. I also have a mother in law who buys every craft related item she can find at yard sales and flea markets, because I'm 'crafty'. This is an extremely nice gesture, but the stuff piles up. I have yarn, fabric, buttons, felt, feathers, beads, candle stuff, soap stuff, tri-chem stuff, stickers, etc, etc, If you need it I probably have it. I'm sure you get it. Anyway, as for supplies, really I only need pop tabs, licence plates, expired dog tags (the four legged type) and earring hooks/jewelry stuff. d

my husband wants to get into candle making what do you have?  I don't know if there is anything I would make that you would want to trade for unless you want lop sided scarves or if you are getting married.

When you said licence plates I laughed because I work at an insurance brokers office in the sgi auto fund division and I hate licence plates, I see hundreds of them every day so making a craft from them is farthest from my mind.  (runs screaming from those darn licence plates!)
