Okay, I'm approved too!  This is awesome.  Smiley

My list:

1.  T-shirt (long sleeved would be extra good, it's cold here!) with some kind of stencil design, usually a woman's medium, PM if you want actual measurements   Thank you!!

2. Felt, fabric, trim, anything you have hanging around

3.  A necklace like this one-- http://www.zannedelions.com/6300whtQ.jpg   any kind of beads or colors, I really like how it looks kind of like vines.

4.  A flower pin-- felted, or one of the folded fabric ones, to wear on a dark purple blazer

5.  One of those fabric belts with a zipper in the back to hold money and things when I go dancing-- either black, or black with  colored designs so I could wear it with anything.  Here's the link:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47995.0

6.  Knitted or crocheted or otherwise WARM leg warmers

7.  Big, fuzzy socks

8.  I would love, love, love a new shoulder bag to hold my books--  not huge, but large enough to fit a regular notebook.  Any style, could be a regular totebag type thing or one of the hobo bags, or some other good shape for a shoulder bag, in a cool fabric or with decorations would be great.

9.  A small black bag, something kind of classy that I could wear when I have to be in a dress or a suit instead of t-shirt and jeans.  I'm going on interviews right now and have no small bag to bring.

10. This is kind of a long shot, and I can't find a picture, but I saw this necklace holder that I loved.  It was a minaiture dress form with an old fashioned lacy dress on it, and from teh neck there were curved wires that arced out in all directions, ending in hooks for necklaces and bracelets.  Does that make sense?  I wish I could find a picture.  But trust me, it was beautiful!  Smiley

11.  A big envelope of paper and ephemera and stuff

12.  A how-to crochet kit would be awesome.  But absolute beginner stuff, from square one.  With nice, easy instructions.

13.  A surprise!

About me:

21 year old student, heading to medical school next year (so yeah, I like things with dorky bio themes).  In Chicago, where it is snowy and cold.  I like colorful things-- I love red, purple, blue, green-- just colors.  Jewel tones especially, but I'm branching out-- I've bought something in pastels for the first time in years. Smiley  I don't like animal prints or anything too shiny.  I like trees and skylines, stars and animals and maps.  I love Chicago.  I really like Sherlock Holmes, but I don't know if that's possible to incorporate in anything.  I will almost assuredly love anything that comes in the mail!

here's my wishlist!
in no particular order...

1.) anything with cool silk-screening or stenciling (bags, shirts, skirts, anything!)
2.) i would love a fun cuff bracelet, any style -- but maybe a little fancier... as in not made of duct-tape, etc. (not that i have a problem with duct tape, it's fantastic) or a brooch
3.) fun pillows thank you! -- i am in seattle at this point, so please send it to the seattle address you received! if you didn't receive it, please let me know!
4.) anything with birds or owls!
5.) jewelry with resin insets (with leaves or stamps, etc.)
6.) a cute half-apron (i've recently taught myself how to cook!)
7.) asymmetrical skirts -- flow-y fabrics (like jersey, etc.) with possible stencils or other one-of-a-kind additions
8.) anything with octopi!
9.) wrist warmers thank you! oh, and i'm in claremont now, so use the second address    Wink
10.) a fun ipod cozy that holds a first generation ipod (yes, that is first generation, folks)
11.) handmade totes and clutches!
12.) natural soaps that smell nice!
13.) anything cable knit (i'm trying to learn, but it's kind of tricky as i'm somewhat new to knitting...)
14.) amigurumi animals!
15.) teacup candles (like this: http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=channel191875&contentGroup=MSL&site=living)

i'm a 20-year old college student in so-cal [studying psychology, dance, and art], but my heart lies in my hometown of seattle. i like all colors but my current loves are greens, browns, and pinks. i'm really digging tweed, herringbone, and houndstooth fabrics of all colors. lace trims are nice, too. i like clean lines and a modern look. i'm a small in shirts, a medium (4-6) in skirts/pants, and i have small wrists (for bracelet info...). thanks!

- knitted sockies! (bente has me addicted now!)

- a little knitted squid ipod cozie (there is a cute one somewhere in the knitting board that has tentacles and everything!)

- some sort of sewn or reconned shirt or hoodie!  just not too low cut...(if you do the hoodie, it would be really kewl if it was medical or nurse themed somehow)

- a slouchy hobo type bag...ala tinafish!  i would like it to be big enough to carry a notebook and lunches!  so, like a large handbag or medium bookbag.  a blandish color would be prefered!  olive, beige, brown...would be great!

- any vintagy or retro type fabric and/or sewing supplies or findings!

- a scarf and/or hat.

- hairthings...i would really like haircombs or hairpins with kewl stuff attached...maybe leaves, flowers, feathers, knitted things, crocheted anything, little folded flowers, anything!

- the knitted amelia earhart hat! http://www.headhuggers.org/patterns/kpatt07.htm

this one is a long shot...but worth a try.
- a sturdy messenger type bag but instead of having the cross your heart strap i would love it to have back pack straps....and it would be super duperdity kewl if it had a nurse/medical themed embellishment/applique/whatever on it!  (i did put this wish in the unconditional swap too so if it gets picked i will remove it from the list it doesnt get picked from.)  i would love to show it off to all my nursing school buddies!

- burned cd's of new music to listen to in the car.  i like pretty much any type of music....but my faves are tori amos, bjork, ani difranco, jem....i would really like some type of music similar to jem...but new...eauropean girly music i guess!  i want to discover new artists and i dont know where to start....sooooooo---i also love the blues, bonnie raitt, cheesy country like patsy cline, old timey music, folk, reggae...anything will be kewl!

- some art for my walls (i remembered morningstar) Wink i like classic looking artwork, mixed media, any sort of painting.  my living room is terra cotta and my rooms are sage green.  it would be nice if it fit into the color scheme some how!

- yarn! any yarn!Thank youuuuuu!

-a t-shirt that says "I knit because it's cheaper than crack."  Wink

- a tshirt that shows how much i am addicted to the "crackster"!

my fave colors are earthy:  browns, greens, oranges, deep reds, and yellows.  i am sort of a modern day hippie girl!  i love anything earthy and naturific!  i heart chickens and coffee and i have a good sarcastic sense of humor!  and i never know what else to write about myself!
thanks you lovelies!

Ok, here goes!

~~ Anything traditional Japanese-themed - fabric, paper, knick knacks, random craft supplies, patterns  Awesome - thanks!!!

~~ I collect Eiffel Towers, and most of them live in my kitchen (right next to the Japanese living room - it's odd, but I like it), so anything that could work in a kitchen would be great.  I already have an Eiffel Tower apron, though.

~~ Cluster earrings!!  I keep meaning to make them, but can't seem to get the bead combo right.  Silver with shades of pink, red, green, or brown would be perfect.

~~ Vintage beads or charms, especially those open lucite flower beads

~~ Wool felt, any color, even scraps (but not too small) would be good

~~ I do Irish step dance, so anything related would be fun.  Ooh, maybe a zipper pouch for keeping my tote bag organized.

~~ Vintage-y paper or fabric, even small pieces

~~ Tacky souvenir magnets - I accidentally started a collection

~~ A simple black clutch, similar to this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=24610.0  Big enough for wallet, phone, keys, extras, and something that closes securely (I'm a total klutz) would be awesome!

~~ Something dolphin-themed for my bathroom

~~ Something from Vancouver/Richmond/Victoria, BC - I'm planning a trip for the summer, so info or tips would be great.  Or goodies to inspire me to get to work on planning (I'm thinking anything from Daiso - I can't wait to go there!!!  Grin)

That's all I can think of for now - Thanks!!!!

About me - I'm 24 and a grad student in Austin.  My favorite colors are purple, cranberry, and lightish olive green.  I love dragons, dachshunds (dappled!), horses, penguins, teddy bears, dolphins, and Totoro  Tongue.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy Holidays!!

I've got the go-ahead to post, yay! I'm getting my wisdom teeth out in about 3 weeks, so I'd love something to distract me and cheer me up around then.  Undecided

I am in Quebec, Canada!

Seeing as this is a wish list, I figured Id include some things in here that Id LOVE, but am really not expecting to get.

1. (1" buttons/pins. Id love to decorate my bags with these. Christian (protestant) themes would be fabulous, as well as generally cute/pretty patterns (argyle, houndstooth, plaid, etc. are my friends). I would love one that says Lady Saphir in a fancy script, and possibly some geeky ones (ie: All your base are belong to us, and somebody set us up the bomb see http://www.thinkgeek.com/ for inspiration), or some victorian/vintage inspired ones. Lots of options. *grin*) granted in the Ongoing Wish List Round 5 Swap
2. Reusable cloth pads (with a waterproof liner please). Im quite curious about these, as Ive never made or tried them. There are tutorials around craftster.

Clothes
3. Knitted socks. I would absolutely LOVE a pair of these: http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer04/PATTlolita.html (Black would be fabulous, although dark brown could work too.) or http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTverytallsocks.html (Black/grey/white/burgundy or a brighter color scheme would be awesome)
4. Scarf something cute, soft (fluffy/fuzzy is nice) and decorative. Warm is optional.
I love this one: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall02/PATTrockstar.html
Lace would be fabulous: http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTbranchingout.html
(Fast scarf: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=55563.0) Granted in the Ongoing Wish List Swap 5
Crochet : http://www.crochetme.com/zen-and-the-art-of-stash-diving Yay! Thank you so so so much! I'm uber excited! Thank you again for picking me  Cheesy
Generally, any kind of less conventional scarf would rock.
5. A muff. Fur/faux fur, lined with more fur or polar fleece would rock.
Pic: http://www.capecodshops.com/Mall/Catalog/Product/ASP/product-id/325082/store-id/1000029291.html
Discussion: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22145.0
6. Fluffy stole/capelet(black): http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter03/PATTeve.html
http://www.catwalk-queen.net/fur.html (numbers 2 & 6)
http://pics-55.hi5.com/wishlistpics/355/111/1115355.img.jpg

Accessories

7. Earrings/rings. I like dramatic, cute, girly, classy pretty much anything. These are nice: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=46437.0
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51735.0 (the brown ones are lovely, variegated pinks would be fabulous too)
8. A cuff! I love these: http://www.cutxpaste.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=2016
http://www.cutxpaste.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=2015
9. Macrame bracelet: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=61254.0
10. Hair clip(s) and/or headband! Maybe something lacy, with a bow. Alligator clips or a full-on snap thing would be good. I want to use it to put my hair half up.
11. Belt! Something pretty! Like the one by orange_sunset: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=56269.270
Or the corset belt: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=17453.0

Supplies
12. Trims: I would *love* a package full of lace, ribbons, and bows!
13. Glass beads, and/or some nice resin ones:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=60259.0

About me: Im an 18 year old student of the sciences in Quebec, Canada. My tastes are quite varied, but Ill try to categorize them. I like gothic (egl and classic), Victorian, slight punk influences (not skulls, but chains can be nice), boho, girly, classy, and vintage. I love tweed, herringbone, houndstooth, plaid, and lace. Colorwise, I like a lot of dark, rich colors, but also delve into the brighter side of life sometime too. In general, as long as its not really plastic looking, Im probably going to like it.

I have small fingers and wrists, and would be delighted to provide measurements if you need them!

A little about me: I'm 26, work in an office by day and design jewelry by night.I'm girly without being too frilly, but like a little rock n' roll mixed in as well.  I love fashion, camping, movies and Pomegranate Martinis! Wink  I scrapbook (when I have time), knit and sew a little, and learning to quilt is the next on the list.
