what a happy baby! I'm trying to knit this sweater in stockinette right now for a baby that will be born in a few days... my math seems to be off, but that's what i get for waiting till the last minute and knitting with stress.

Thanks for the tip!  I'll look for the book.

Your baby is soooo cute!  And you're right about the whole gender thing.  It drives me so crazy that I cannot find plain t-shirts for my son that don't have pictures of cars or sports on them.  Grrrr.

Your baby is so gorgeous!!!!!! I love the sweater too. I agree about the choice of colours for baby clothes, its awful here in the UK, everything is such a pale pink and all denim is frilly or embroidered. Roll Eyes

xiuxiu - i'm happy to hear you are planning on trying this pattern - it's very easy, and if you have questions, let me know - it's still fresh in my mind. my daughter wears it all the time (because i dress her, of course). i made the 6-9 month size, by the way, even though she is only 3 months now. she's not a big baby, and it fits, so you may want to factor that in - i didn't want to spend all that time making it only to have it be too small!

...the whole world is a narrow bridge, and the main thing is to have no fear at all...
