Woo - I'm hoping to pick you felting needles and roving at the end of the month Cheesy - my friends will be going in with me and getting some too, so I'll direct them to the feltalong.

I didn't know about felting till I popped onto this board - thankyou all Cheesy

Hi PurpleHeather,  Aww you are so welcome.  It does seem as though the regular posters here do really enjoy working with the nearly raw wool and are happy to share the joy.  We will love have you and any of your friends join us in felting adventures.

I have left overs from the roving I dyed for the felt covered soap so I'm ready to go Smiley I just wish I had some black....they only sell roving in 1/2 pound bags at my LYS and I don't really have the extra cash to buy more right now. So any suggestions on how to dye some natuarl to black?

The dying is beyond my expereince, knowledge, reading.  You might ask in Weaving Board- they also dye roving.

ruwena you can always google wool roving and see if there's an online shop that sells them, or even a local one.
