I made this for the Squid Swap.  It's supposed to be a Squid Hat, but it's more of a squid-head-attack-simulation.

My friend, who has a healthy fear of the giant squid with eyes as big as dinner plates, has told me that I must knit this for him.  So the squids will not attack him, not wanting to poach on another squid's territory.

As an avid lover of ocean creatures and knittedness, I think this is so incredible.  Your work is beautiful, thanks for sharing the process with us   I actually attempted this two Christmases ago and got overwhelmed with the size about three tentacles in, haha.  Yay for giant squids
