I designed some Save-the-Date magnets for my wedding in Photoshop using a picture I drew, and ordered them through vistaprint.com.  They were very reasonably priced and I think they turned out really cute! (no that's not a blob, I edited out the location Wink)

I spent a few hours this afternoon addressing and return addressing about 65 envelopes and then cutting out 65 little slips of paper with a little blurb about our wedding website on it, so now my hands are all crampy.   Tongue  I get to put them in the mail on Monday!!  This is getting exciting...

Awww those are such a nice idea!

Really cute! Are you gonna do the invitations yourself as well?

I'm going to try to do the invitations myself as well.  Luckily I got a few months to do those though!

I love the drawing. Great alternative to a photo (and something I should consider for the future, since I am totally un-photogenic).

I am actually doing these myself as a wedding favor along with a compilation of our wedding music burned to a cd with really nice covers.  The magnets I purchased on Ebay for $10 for 200.  The magnets have adhesive on the front. I created the artwork and wording on Microsoft Word with a nice pic of a bride and groom walking on the beach in their wedding attire.  It has our names and the date of our wedding.  At the bottom, I wrote "Today I married my friend.  Now, together we are one"  They turned out really nice.  While most people spend over $100 for favors, mine will only cost about $30, if that.
