That was a very unique and interesting idea and I think that you did a great job.  And as far as complex math functions I give you kudo's as well, I stink in math.

i sewed a quilt for when we had to do costructions with a compass and stright edge in geometry. hand embroidered all of them, color coded by step (things like drawing a perfect triangle and stuff) on mulin, and then sewed the squares into a quilt. got a 60 out of 50 IIRC.

good job on the chicken. sewing is so much math anyway, that they go very well together.

Ok sorry but I'm not a fan of math, but that is just the best chickan and/or math project that I think I've ever seen!  I think if we had had cool assignments which allowed to you craft up egg-filled poultry and the like I may have been more into it!

I'm very into Britney Spears' early work, before she sold out, so mostly her, um, finger painting and macaroni art.

Know why chicken coops have 2 doors?

If they had 4 doors they'd be chicken sedans.

That chicken is amazing!  I bet it would be a great teaching tool if you wanted to tutor someone.  I have a little babysitting service, and we do some tutoring and parties as well.  We're always looking around for good ideas to help kids learn.  Unfortunately, none of us is quite good enough to tutor math, but sounds like you could!
