Yesterday my honey and I went out for lunch and some last minute shopping. Lucky me the only place to park happened to be right across the street from the weaving store where I've bought all my fiber. Being the good sport that he is he followed me about while I bought spinning supplies and some extra for the stack of soaps on my kitchen counter.

I wish my camera didn't have such a killer flash on it. The colors are way nicer than the photo shows.

I was looking around in the bath and beauty section and found this really cute "hamburger" felted soap.  I'm not sure when it was posted- didn't think to look- but here's the link

Kajakas your soap is lovely...especially for a first try Smiley My first try I didn't attempt designs I just wanted to get the felt to stay on the soap lol.

Thanks for the link radal16
I thought this was an interesting comment that keston made in the link

my little brother made felted soap awhile ago.  when he finished felting it he used a yarn needle to thread yarn for a handle/hanger on it.  when he finished the soap, he cut open the empty felt piece and made it into a little coin purse. they're all hollow inside from where the soap is!

Sounds like we might be able to get two projects for the price of one  Wink

I finally got some felting supplies and made my first soap! I used some mysore sandal soap I received in a swap from Crafty_Dame so it was a double-craftster project (and smelled wonderful!)

Yay for felt!
