I bought black wire, and lock washers at the hardware store an decided they were destined for chandelier earrings. I have been making these kinds of earrings with old bike parts, but These washers just rock! They are some kind of lock washers. They're very fun, like little suns, or bursts, they sort of look like an asterisk, so I think the parts are very sparkly and energetic, while also looking industrial and edgy.

Awesome! They don't even look like they're made from stuff at the hardware store; I especially love how you twisted the wire, craft on!

I love that black wire stuff..and your earrings turned out really great - that stuff (if it's what I'm thinking of) is really hard to ben, so you did a terrrific job.

I love them! It's cool that you used unconventional objects to make earrings.
