I made this purse from a left over orange bag. I put a contrasting yellow cotton liner to keep stuff from falling out and to make it a little more durable.
If you could find a burlap potato sack, that would be awesome for material.

that would make an excellent grocery sack.
I haven't bought oranges in a bag lately,
and I was wondering if the bag already has
handles or if you attatched those yourself?

I also like the yellow lining, very bright and sunny.

The yellow contrasting just adds the right sometning to your bag. I just wish I could actually know what that something is.

Yeah, oranges are risky if you buy 'em in a bag. I pick them out individually when I can  Cheesy The bag just closed w/ a drawstring when I bought it. I cut off like the top third of the bag, wrapped it w/ the contrast fabric then sewed along the edge for the handles.

that is so cute! those orange bags are pretty tough,  I find myself to be pretty muscular and I always try to rip open the bag and that stuff is so strong! I am so making that! great idea
