This post was lost in the great Craftster crash of 12-08-05.  Some of us still refer to that day as black Thursday.

Anyhow, this is the easiest skirt ever.

I made this skirt in about 30 minutes and I used all handsewing!

To make, you will need:
1 large t-shirt
Lingerie elastic or some other thin elastic
Solid non fraying fabric
Tulle or some other net-like non-fraying fabric

I really like how that is made from a t-shirt, but it's not your typical shirt to skirt recon. It looks awesome. I'll have to attempt that sometime.

I never would have guessed the top was a t-shirt if you hadn't said anything-- it definitely doesn't look like the typical shirt-to-skirt recon. And the assymetrical sheer thing is a great touch!

That's really cool :B I never thought of slipping elastic through the bottom of a tshirt hem.  I've done it with leg warmers and such, but never thought of doing it on a tshirt for a skirt.  Thanks lotts Smiley

What a great twist on the shirt-to-skirt recon.  I love it. :-)
