after traveling to three home depots i finally found this pink carpet padding in stock, and it was only about 4 bucks. so i grabbed it and purchased some washers too for a grand total of 6 dollars and some change.

so basically i cut the pad into a square, and used a cut-up dishwashing sponge to stamp on black acryillic paint. and then i painted half of my washers black to differentiate the two sides.

the finished product

hey, my cat seems to like it!

happy craftinggggg

make something everyone will call a statement, but you'll just call it a random thursday

Too cute! That would be a nice quick, cheap present... maybe with a little yoga-mat bag type thing with a magnet on it to hold the washers... hmmm... can you buy the padding by the foot, or do you have to get a whole roll of it? I never thought to use it for anything, but now I see a million uses for it... all kinds of portable gameboards, maybe a yoga mat, tons of things... Thanks for opening my eyes to carpet padding!

It looks like your cat is plotting to use it for a bed!  Cute!

I am interested in Halloween Rinchies (round inchies) to make bottle cap magnets.
