i found a 13 by ? sized tote at walmart, and thought "*lightbulb* i should embroider something onto it and use it to carry my books for school!!!" So i spent maybe 5-6 dollars total for the whole thing and i thought it was totally worth it! lynyrd skynyrd is one of my favorite bands and i think mushrooms are so cute, and i'm planning on adding more stuff onto it later.

that's how the logo turned out. i printed off the logo off the net and then sketched it onto the jean material with a yellow colored pencil (i'm in college and i'm cheap!) and attempted to embroider it.

that's the small shroom that i handdrew onto it.

close up of the shroom

considering that this was the first time i have EVER embroidered anything and i had to learn on my own, i think they turned out pretty good.

i wanna add more stuff to the other side (the shroom side) but don't know what to add. Help me out fellow craftsterians! i'm planning on making a liner eventually and sewing a couple of blue jean pockets (off old pants) to the liner.

help me come up with things to put on it! i would appreciate it!

Thanks for the positive feedback! I still dunno what else to do to it... I may embroider some Skynyrd lyrics on it... maybe Free Bird, or Sweet Home Alabama... i dunno... any ideas???

That looks great! I love Skynrd too....you should put some Free Bird on there. I also like your quote, the VanZant memorial.
