My little Katie was feeling left out, so here she is. She's knit out of Cascade 220.

Here's my version of Kate.  She is made of stashed leftovers of Cascade 220.  I love her and may need to make her some friends!  My friend keeps referring to her as The Mutant Egg.

Ahh!!  That's what my lil' brother said about mine!  Except he's weird, so instead of saying "humpty-dumpty" he says "humpty-dunky"  Haha!

This is a Kate mod: an emperor penguin chick.

Uhm, my son's eyes are glazed over because he's playing a video game.

More pics and details at my blog entry, here.

Aw, all the Kates are so cute!

I did mine in Red Heart 'Berries' colorway, so she's more of a calico Kate.

(Her little belly isn't stuffed crooked, I think that's just an odd angle).

everyone's "Kate's" are so unique and awesome!

I'm totally psyched cause I just started him tonight (gotta rename, i'm making him male...) and it is going so fast! AND, this is my FIRST DPN PROJECT! I seriously taught myself tonight a few hours ago after much confusion and a few failed attempts. now i'm obsessed.

DPN's, where have you been all my life!

I'm knitting him with KnitPicks Wool of the Andes with the pants in Rain, the sweater striped in Rain and Pumpkin and his little body is Fog colored.

If anyone decides to use Wool of the Andes, I suggest maybe using size 7 needles instead of 8. it could be my knitting, but I have tight stitches and he is still a bit see through on the size 8s. I'm probably going to line his insides with a dark color so at least what shows through won't look like poly-fill.

rambling...i'll post pics when done...

Now, my story begins in nineteen-dickety-two. We had to say "dickety" 'cause the Kaiser had stolen our word "twenty". I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety-six miles
