Does anyone know where I can get hold of small papier mache frames.
They are about 2inches square with a string attached. They are brown and about $1 a piece.I used to get them from the major craft stores but I'm having no luck in Madison ,they never seem to have any.
Any help would be most welcome.
Cheers.

I don't live in Madison, and I haven't really visited it too much this year. I'm north near Oshkosh sort of. But I know the frames you're talking about. So places I would suggest to try are; Ben Franklin, Joanns fabrics, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels, maybe the Wisconsin craft market (there's one near Westgate and Eastowne)
I don't know if I've helped you at all, but those are a few places to look. You could always call first. Some places are very friendly, others may not be as much, but it could save you a trip.
Good luck!

I have the same question from Philadelphia in 2007.  A.C. Moore last year had a mass of them and this year they don't even know what I am talking about.  I found a source in the UK; Debby Cripps, but that does not seem very convenient or cost-effective.  I assume they are made in China by slave labor but I could be wrong of course, and all the ones I bought last year now have paint and decoration on them, or else they are in the homes of the lucky relatives to whom I gave them as christmas tree decorations.  MOre recent ideas or experience?  Thanks!
