Where can I buy a beginner's spinning kit (drop spindle) or beginner's needle felting kit

- in Toronto, or
- online from a Canadian retailer?

I know there are lots of places in the States to order from, but the import duty we have to pay is always so high.

(This is cross-posted on the City Guides boards.  I thought I'd post here because I've had no responses on the other board.)

Ebay usually has sets on there. Just pull up spinning, then crafts, and you can see all sorts of juicy fibers and spindles and wheels. There are a few canadian sellers too. Usually everyone will ship to Canada as well. But a good source. I get most of my stuff off ebay.

Hey there... In Toronto there are a couple shops you can visit -- Lettuce Knit (http://www.lettuceknit.com) and Romni Wools (http://www.romniwools.com).

I agree with you about the sucky import duty. I'm in Vancouver and it's often *brutal* getting stuff from the US.
