I was thinking about setting up an etsy account to sell some of my yarn and other crafty things.  Does anyone here sell their goods through it?  Is it good? Is it bad?  Do you sell things to people who just stummbled across the site? Or is it all regular customers who now can check out your stuff online? Any info would be great!

Thanks for your help!

i have an etsy account but i don't sell much. i think my buyers were people who randomly stumbled across my stuff because i never advertise. so, you know. it's worth a try. their fees are much lower than ebay's and you have an audience looking specifically for diy stuff, so why not?

hey, i do personal swaps! especially for fiber. i am addicted to fiber & yarn. addicted.

I have an etsy account too, but I don't sell too much either. I am not very happy at all with the site. That's just me. I have sold 2 things ever on there. I got good feedback too. But, I just don't think it is easy to sell on there because there is a lot of compition and it is difficult to sell to other crafters. Thats just my opinion.
