Homecoming dress done in 2 or 3 days   Grin

finished an hour before the dance and i still wasn't done.  i tucked in the interfacing at the edges rather than sewing them down... but i think i did pretty good right? =)
it was a burda young fashion pattern.  8174

i was going for a 50's look but i think i was sorta off =p  it's not exactly polka dotted because the tiny dots are actually hearts... so would that be polka-hearted..??

Cute! You could have fooled me that it was unfinished, I wouldn't have noticed at all.

What an adorable dress!
I remember, for my grade 7 grad (well, it seemed like a big deal at the time), my mom sewed the halter strap closed and my aunt hemmed as quickly as she could right before I had to go. Eep!

What a pretty dress. I used that pattern for my homecoming dress this year too. I like it with straps  Smiley
