Hey all!
Here is my solution to the vogue vest disaster:
I picked up stitches around the neck and worked in 2x2 rib, decreasing with sl 1, k2tog, psso at the center front v. This was my first Vogue pattern (I'm an interweave girl) and it might be my last!  But I am happy with the results now.

That looks great! What kind of yarn is that?

Thanks!  I used something from Jo-Anne's called Licorice.  It's 100% wool.  Last time I was there, they actually had some reasonable yarns under their own brand label.

What a great solution! The vest looks great. And no, I'm not much of a Vogue girl, either.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

knit_core - The vest was in Fall 2005 and the problem was that it was supposed to be a deep v neck but I had the same problem as seen here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=65099.0
Hence the ribbing addition.

I like the way yours came out. It looks more decent for my taste. Also, if I didn't see the other one, I wouldn't think anything was wrong with it.
