Trying to save a few hours of web searching:  Does anyone have recommendations for animation software that would be good for a computer literate pre-teen? Thanks for any input!

I have been a professional 2d/3d animator for over 15 years, and the coolest, bestest software I have ever played with is MOHO. go to: www.lostmarble.com
it is simple... super smart... and works great on any platform

this is a 2d animation package with amazing capabilities.... just check out it's features... and the fully functioning demo is downloadable from the site... and it is only $100 bucks...

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  Moho looks like a great program and it's within my budget.  Going to try the free download today!
