Love love love this pattern book.

I also made the little odd fellow:

OMG, i love your plushie!  PLUS, i love the fact that you had a beck album just hanging out in the background.  automatically cool, lol.

 Wink

heeeeee
I know mine's not finished at all, but I thought she looked too cute without ears/appendages and I had to post some photos.

Beck is standing behind her so that you won't see my ugly wallpaper which is going to be painted over sometime this week.

and here she is sleeping.. aww
(haha.. I took this photo so you could better see the purple)

I'm using caron simply soft (her clothes) and woolease (her fur).

hahahhaa thanks.
It's actually not an album, but a large cardboard thing I stole from a record store when Sea Change came out.  It's got to be more than 1' x 1'.  probably 1.5' wide
I love my giant Beck.  He's so pretty...

Here is my Dolly.  I can't take credit for the pigtails - someone recently posted a cute dolly with pigtails (altho' I can't seem to find the thread  - EDIT: oh, here it is), and I just copied the idea.

I am jealous of everyone who got that booklet, because I didn't discover it in time and now it may be too late. I think it would be a little bit mean to not sell any more to people who are willing to pay and also not make it public. If she doesn't want to post the patterns do you think she would at least let people share scans/pdfs? She doesn't seem like a mean person so maybe we should ask her...   any thoughts? is this a reasonable request of a pattern author?

Okay, I feel a wee sheepish for not seeing this thread before I posted my Dolly thread, but here's my Dolly and Robot, together forever:

Made from: various worsted-weight acrylic (mostly Caron's Simply Soft).

Variations: I made one solid block on the robot's front instead of the intarsia in the pattern. Dolly's pigtails are just tassels sewn on to either side of her head (because she looked sort of odd with no real hair).

Extra photos of each toy can be found on my blog in the robot post and the dolly post.

This is my dilemma, too.  I want to make some of these patterns SO badly!

I was excited to see her robot on the front cover of Make's new Craft magazine (which is coming this fall) -- maybe the pattern for that one will be inside.

*sigh*  Maybe we should take up a petition and send it to her.
