Here is my Spherey! He is so sweet. I love all of the variations I am seeing here.  Jess' patterns are so fun and so well written.  I can't waitto make Kate, as that is my name and all...

I abhsolutely love art like this, so I am super excited to get this book! I just signed up for notification, and I can't wait. I think Im gonna get one for my friends too! Im sure they'd love it!

I'm very eccentric and also very sarcastic. I wish I could say I was the life of the party, but I'm very Awkward in crowds. I'm shy around strangers, but crazy around friends. Currently I am majoring in Children's Ministry. I hearts the kiddies.I think they only like me cause I give them goldfishes.

I am so sad!  Fred Flare sold out of the booklets, and the latest update from Jess said she may not make any more again, ever!  Sad  I was really looking forward to making all the toys.

Yay! I made the same one this weekend and came on here to see someone else has my same color scheme.  Grin

it was my first time using double pointed needles - what a bitch!

I finally finished my Kate yesterday while watching Seinfeld.  She was ready to pose during American Idol:

I made her for a friend of mine to whom I had originally promised a scarf (for xmas 04).  Turns out I hate knitting scarves, so the project got put on hold until a year later.  She likes cats, so I figured I'd try this.

Kate's facial expression is my friend's signature expression: the frowl.  I couldn't make a toy for Talia and not make it frowling.  Also, cats inspire me to frowl--I'm terribly allergic, so I have a particular aversion to these horrible creatures.

Knit with Lion Brand Microspun on size US5 DPNs.  I love the colors that Microspun comes in, and I love its shine.

I haven't given it to my friend yet, and I have no idea how she'll be received.  Wish me luck...
