I used three sizes of washers, a metal disc (i'm not sure what it's really for), and plastic wire for hanging pictures.

This is really cool, if you made it into a lamp/lampshade (i've seen these all over, and that's what your mobile sort of reminds me of) it would be super awesome!

Ohh!  I didn't notice that before.  That really does look nice that way!  It looks lighter... like it's floating.

Thanks guys!

I actually tried tying the wire so that it was straight, but it was too hard to bend.  Then I decided to do circular because I figured out that if i melted the ends of the wire with a lighter I could fuse them together.   There were some pretty stinky fumes though!!
