So, Christmas is coming up, and I decided to make presents for all my friends, instead of buying them. I'd got everyone's sorted, then suddenly realised I'd forgotten someone Shocked Obviously, I couldn't leave her out, but I'm not sure what to get her.

She's about thirteen, and loves music and books. I haven't seen her in ages, but we used to be really close, so I want it to be something special. For her birthday, I wrote her a story, so I don't want to do that again. I'm really stuck for ideas, so anything that's memorable and classy will be great!! Smiley

My simple but classy go to gift is a pair of teardrop earrings. You can get some really nice glass teardrops online. Create the earring cap by wrapping thin (24 gauge) wire around the top of the bead with round nose pliers. There are some great Youtube videos that can help.

If that isn't her style, you can always go with a neat charm bracelet. The charms can reflect something special about her, showing thought in every detail.
