yeah, I was thinking more towards sending it later, so it would arrive closer to christmas (the post office is saying send by monday the 19th AT THE LATEST to get there by saturday the 24.  No post on Christmas!)...plus I have finals this week and I was going to spend all next week craftin' it up (I'm pretty much all done with the stocking though.  I've been working on knitting that pretty much a lot!)

I recieved today!  but my camera has been spazzing and not connecting to my computer.  So if my wonderful partner, macaulkv, has pictures, I hope she posts them!  In the meantime I'll get to work on my damn camera!  (I have a couple other things I want to post too, I'm not a happy camera owner )
But... I got some amazing stuff.  Handmade soaps, bath fizzers, chapstick, notecards and more I know I'm forgetting because it's not sitting in front of me right now... I also got jelly bracelets, all kinds of other yummy bath stuff, a wrist cuff, earrings... The list goes on.

i've got a few pics of what i sent boarderchic so here goes. she's all about pink spa-lovin' girly goodness so i tried to reflect that in my gifts.

the handmade goods:
felt stocking, mixed punk christmas cd, cupcake eraser, lavendar soap, cinnamon soap, candy cane lip balm w/ glass charm, bath bombs, birdie note cards, & milk 'n oatmeal bath tea bags.



the whole swap package: includes none-handmade items like dress-up doll stickers, a candy necklace, pink (glow in the dark) jelly bracelets, a wristband, lotion, spa samplers, pink friendship bracelet, pink dress notepad & some cute thank you cards i thought she'd like.

tips 'n tricks:
bath bombs were made using this recipe i've posted on this thread - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=19044.0
lip balm was made using mango butter lip solutions base and adding color & scent - http://www.thesage.com/catalog/LipSolutions.html
cupcake eraser was made using scupley eraser clay (i got mine at michael's craft store)
birdie notecards are simple computer illustration and text printed on cardstock
milk 'n oatmeal bath teas were made with powdered milk & ground oatmeal tied in coffee filters
