I saw some cool Christmas cards when I was surfing around.  Who else is making their own?  I would love to see people's creations!

I found an idea on Martha Stewart's website for how to make some Christmas cards that would use up some of my huge ribbon stash.  They're easy to make--just sew up the middle (I used a zig-zag stitch), then trim the edges.  What do you think?

Thanks Martha! http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=channel172033&contentGroup=MSL&site=living

Your cards look so nice! I think everyone should make their own cards. I would love to get one of yours in the mail!

I am making mine next week. I'll be sure to post pics!

Hey, thanks!  I'm glad you like them.
I didn't glue them--the heavier ribbons stay put pretty nicely--but I'm thinking about putting a dab of glue on a couple of the lighter-weight ribbons.

Can't wait to see everyone's!

Very well done!  I was at K-mart and saw the Martha Stewart line had some pillows with the x-mas tree designs done in ribbon like that, but I think I like your cards even better... Thanks for the links!

Pillows!  That would be cute.  I could make a matched set of Christmas tree things...I'm going to recover a photo album I have and put a ribbon tree on the front.  Maybe a ribbon tree apron?

I confess I went to Michael's today and bought more ribbon.

A couple of mine, but they're all on my website.

This one is a cut-out and Mr. Squirrel is holding the sign up with toothpicks:

This one had a nifty rhinestone belly button:
