wait!

i thought they were only going to have to have positive in round 1 to be in this one?

isn't that what we agreed upon? there are people in round 2 who it just isn't possible to have positive yet (and there are people who are late, but that's another story!). the last send days for round 2 were less than 2 weeks ago, if they were sending internationally, their packages wouldn't have neccessarily arrived. that's why when eowynmn first suggested this idea of needing positive, she said it would be for the 3rd last round, so that the send date was at least a month ago. that will give people time to send and receive.

i really really don't want people to start refusing to fulfill internationall wishes because of this, but it's not really fair.

what's going on?

yeah, its in the rules:

YOU MUST HAVE "POSITIVE" IN ROUND 1 AND 2 IN ORDER TO SIGN UP FOR ROUND 4

is that what your talking about?

oooh nevermind, your talking about round one AND 2 right?

well.. there are people from round 3 that have positive?

or am i doing something wrong

originally, when we were talking about how this round would work, the plan was that they would need positive for round 1, not round 1 AND round 2. my point is that not everyone has feedback from round 2 yet, even if they sent within the required 2 weeks. some people do of course, and some people did really early on, but they just sent early.

the idea was that each round is two weeks long (ish!), and the send dates are two weeks after promising to fulfill the wish. and then there's actual travel time to consider as well, so it's not possible for everyone to have positive feedback within a month. by the time round 5 rolls around, that's when they'd need to have positive for round 1 and round 2. for round 6, they'll need to have positive for rounds 1, 2 and 3. they always need to have positive for the third most recent round, and all rounds prior to that.

you're not doing it wrong, you're just doing it differently than what eowynmn told me, so i'm checking.

if that's how she wanted that, that's cool. it's just different than how she explained it to me.

i will put a disclaimer out -

that i'm not sure how quickly i'll be able to get the feedback posted for round 2, and i sincerely apologize to those that are going to have to wait. but i've been much sicker the last few weeks than i have in a long time, and i'm also trying to go back to work after being on extended medical leave. my health has to come first, and that may mean your feedback won't be updated instantly.

I will claim Roxybadoxy for vintage buttons!
Here's my list. I'm in the US

A Hat: I love this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=57584.0

Or a Chicken Viking hat  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21342.0

Or a Panta http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51351.0 Thanks Bloocanoe!!

             Or a Hallowig from Knitty (!) http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATThallowig.html

             Or a Pixie Hat http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=25996.0;topicseen

Or a soft black Kittyville hat with earflaps for super cold days (either knit or fleece is fine)

Or a baby Yoda hat for my nephew (who isn't quite born yet but I already want to spoil like mad!)

                                                  -  I have a pretty big head (and cold ears!)

A kimono fabric hobo bag like this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=56519.0 (I am in LOVE with the indigo/orange one!)

Or the necktie schoolbag (I love the burgundy/black/grey/paisley colored one but any colors will work) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45985.0;topicseen

Vintagey/kitschy embroidered or appliqued kitchen towels (fawns, mermaids, pinups, swallows, mexicana, cowgirls, pretty much anything from sublime stitching, my kitchen is green with accents in pink, orange, red, so anything will do!)

Decor items for my bedroom, which is pink and gold; something sexy, maybe 1920's, art nouveau, vintage nude, Japanese cherry blossom, something pretty and glam (Just for inspiration, I saw a gorgeous Louise Brooks embroidery on craftster http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=59537.0 ) or this Anthropologie frame: http://www.anthropologie.com/jump.jsp?itemID=8543&itemType=PRODUCT&iSubCat=451&iMainCat=381

Some kind of cute  wall art for my bathroom, which is kind of a modern take on shabby chic, in light blue and white: a mermaid or nude, or shell type thing maybe?

Porn by numbers

That gorgeous Anthropologie vines scarf I keep seeing

Something Omiyage

Mexicana stuff

Something Bollywood inspired

A stuffed black squirrel, either needle felted, in the style of those felt monster/kitty type toys or amigurumi. I never saw a black squirrel till I moved here, but there's one on my street. His name is Jimmy. He refuses to be photographed. It would be extra funny if it was big enough to wear a catsized spiked collar, since Jimmy is a bit of a badass (and has recently taken to spelling his name Jimi) (I am way to involved with my local squirrel community!)

a knitted uterus (cause...why not...) (especially one that could contain a heatable bag of seeds & lavender for crampish times)

the infamous lipstick girl cozy http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=39172.0

monster slippers (size 8-9)

A cool microscope slide necklace (I'm learning to make these but haven't got it yet)

A bowl's worth of funny fruit/veggies  (knit, crochet, felt, as long as it's kitschy)

A vintagey rectangular tablecloth (pm me for dimensions) I love all the  ones on Anthropologie, or a cowgirl print, or anything fun, really. My DR is grey & mocha with red chairs so any colors will work. (there are also purple and aqua/turquoise things going on in there. And yellow. Hmm..like I said...any color!)

A lacy scarf or shawl (like the branching out one or anything in that style)

A knit or crochet ruffle scarf

Super warm mittens, felted or fleece lined, or felted and fleece lined, or sewn with nylon. I walk to work and I bundle up like a polar explorer but my hands are still cold! So, something wind proof and industrial strength!.

This is my first wish, and I live in Canada.

And my list...

1.  A "learn to spin" kit (i.e. drop spindle and instructions, I have never done this before but am getting inspired to try by the craftster spinners)

2.  handspun/hand-dyed yarn (mmmmm..... yarn..... )

3.  chandelier earrings, something like these perhaps?  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=46236.0

4.  Wristwarmers - I have a pair that I looooooooove (did I mention that I love them?) and wear all the time, and would love another pair. The ones I have are ~10" long from the base of my fingers to well past my wrist, and ~8" around. Preferably a thin-ish wool so that they are warm but not bulky (i.e. ~ dk weight).  Thumb gusset preferred (as I wear them to knit) but not essential.  Variegated yarn preferred, if possible.

5.  A christmas tree topper, preferably a whimsical star or angel, so that this year I don't twist tie an ornament to the top of the tree yet again and pretend it is a tree topper. I have a small tree, it is ~5ft tall, so it doens't have to be huge.

6. one of the super roll-up knitting needle cases like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51175.0

7. some fat quarters of quilting fabric (100% cotton) for my stash as I'm a newbie quilter

8.  a monster bag- I love them! I laugh everytime I see the pics!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=49593.0

9.  something with the DNA cable (http://www.twosheep.com/helix/), i.e. scarf or mitts

10.  fun knitted socks- my feet are 10" long, but v. narrow.

I like jewel tones, colours with blue undertones (i.e. love blue, purple, reds, greens, pink), but not yellow undertones (i.e. don't care for orange, yellow etc.).  PM me for any other info.

thanks craftsters!    Smiley
