Well, I'm a big fan of car air fresheners, and they come in so many designs and what not, so would it work to keep them, even after the smell is gone, and coat them with some sort of gloss, and use them as decorations for your Christmas tree?

Has anyone tried this, would it work?

I guess it would work with varnish, it would make it easier to clean dust off of it too.  That would be a neat christmas tree, it would remind me of truck stops  Smiley

You could probably use clear contact paper (see through shelf paper) if the air fresheners began to absorb the gloss.

haha, I think it would be so funny to have a tree full of tree-shaped air fresheners...
