Has anyone done any printing with a Gocco printer?  I'm considering buying one to do my wedding invitations.

I actually just bought one to do my invitations with.. I figure paying for a gocco and all the paper needed is still cheaper than paying for invites (and thanks yous, programs, etc.).

I did a test run last weekend with a different design, and it turned out great! I can't wait to start on my invites!

I love my Gocco!  (as you can see here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82983.0)

I've been making notecards for my etsy shop, and I plan to make more, as well as some t-shirts, in the near future.

You can find out more about gocco at http://www.savegocco.com

I've been happily gocco-ing for 8 years. I did my wedding invitations and I'm also doing them for my best friend's wedding this fall. I've had good luck with text, but I've heard of other people having problems. to be on the safe side I use that artwork clean up paper from http://www.nehoc.com.au/ you can check my etsy store to see what kind of detail I've been able to get....www.heatherjeany.etsy.com
Incase you didn't know...Print Gocco has been discontinued, but I guess there are enough supplies around to last a few years, after that who knows.... Sad

We Gocco'ed our Envelopment folders and laser-printed our inserts.

We chose Gocco so that we could have a light colored pigment ink (silver in our case) on dark paper.
  • Had our names on the outside
  • Wedding Website address on the inside

As you can tell, you probably want to clear some space on the floor to let your invitations dry before stacking them up .

Nutmegh,

If you're in the SF Bay Area, PM me.
I might be able to let you use my Gocco.  You'll just need to buy screens, bulbs and ink then.
