Here's the back of the notebook Morning Star sent:

It has some great Ned Flanders quotes that I'd forgotten entirely.  How could I have forgotten about "neglectorinos"Huh
And, oh yeah, the Ipod armband is sitting there, too.  It's got Ralph Wiggum-isms.  On the front is "I Choo-Choo-Choose you!"  And the back has the quote about the berries that "tasted like burning."  I love that quote.

Here's the Ipod armband action shot:

Sorry it's blurry--but, hey, it's an action shot!   Smiley

Thanks, Morning Star!

If you're interested, I think I still have the file on my computer.  If you have MS Publisher, I could probably email it to you if you want it.  PM me if you do.   Smiley

Oh my god you guys made such cool stuff!! Everything looks so great!!

Anyway, the holidays brought me to a grinding halt and I am now just playing catch up!!

Here is what I sent to LilliVanilla (aka our lost swapper)

I sent her some magnets, and bookmarks; and since she is a knitter I made Blinky needles and character stitch markers and then I picked up the bag in Sydney Australia while there for work, and sent it to be a knitting bag... here's a closer shot

Now, my dear sweet angel sent me this great package...

The book is Edgar Allen Poe poems and she has altered it so cool with the collage cover, new end sheets and "Eat my shorts" bookmark. I LOVE THIS BOOK!! I have shown it to everyone, THIS IS LIKE THE MOST PERFECT THING IN THE WORLD. And then the stitch markers Kick Ass and I have already used them, they are just too cool!!!!

Even though I lost my partner, this ended up being a very cool swap - THANKS!!

cejaypi--
I'm so delighted that you like the book so much.  I saw that the "Raven" episode was your favorite, and I knew immediately what I wanted to do.  I never altered a book or made stitch markers before, so I felt quite accomplished when I finished those things.  For another swap, hertrigger sent me a bunch of random beads, and I loved that I had just the right letter beads to spell "HOMER."

That stuff you sent is great.  I have to second Morning Star about the Blinky knitting needles.  Those are fantastic.  Did we have the same idea of making pouches from Simpsons comics to contain the smaller items???
