bead shops in sydney?

i'm visiting sydney for the first time (from hawaii) and am hoping to find some cool beads or charms (preferably ones that are different from things i've seen before, or can't get here in the states).

can anyone help?

well, i'm not there yet--but will be on the 10th. i think we're staying in chinatown or near darling harbor (is that a place, i may have it wrong)....

Well, I think there's a bead store in the rocks area. Hopefully those more in the know can help you out with the name of the store.

There's a bead store in Surrey Hills - on Cooper Street (between Central Station and Crown St).

There's also a bead shop in newtown. You can either get a train or bus there. It's on enmore road I think, next to enmore theatre. It's called The Bead company I think. It's a great store and has everything you need to get started or keep going!

Theres also beadhouse in Alexandria. 4 Stokes Ave Alexandria. Not too sure if its easy to get too by public transport however. You can check out the website here http://www.beadhouse.com.au/index.php
the beads arn't the greatest, but they have lot of nice charms and chain.

The store in surrey hills is number 80. I made a mistake once of thinking it was 60  lets just say my brother is only now forgiving me for making him walk that far.
