My friend just started basic training for the air force last week and we want to send him a care package.  The only thing is that anything we send him, he has to be able to carry away in his pockets.  So we were thinking that we would just do one of those small bubblewrap envelopes, so we need ideas for tiny things to put in it.

Here are the ideas I have so far:
Mini photo album with pictures
Cross-stitch of a fighter jet (I actually have a pattern for this!)
Keychain

So that's all I've been able to think of.  The snag that I always hit is that he's a guy.  I can think of a lot of things that I could send but most of them are all cutesy.  Not exactly guy appropriate.  I think I even might be stretching it a little with the cross-stitch, but it is pretty cool, and I was going to write his name on the wing and everything.

Anyways if you guys had any ideas that you would be willing to share I would really appreciate it.  Thank you so much!

i don't know if he would like this but if you want to send him a keychain, you could get one of the keychains that you can put small pictures in and maybe put a picture from one of those photo booths of all the people that the care package is from? maybe the mini photo album would be better.  You could also send him little notes from all of you, paper doesn't take up much space and im sure he would like to hear from you.  I dont know if this makes sense or if he would need them but maybe stamps so he can send you guys letters back? thats about all i have.

Thanks!
Yeah we were going to send him letters in it too.  I've already started writing, and I write a little bit each day.  Also I am going to get everyone to contribute a little note too.  Teachers, friends etc.  And this totally sucks, but I don't think he is allowed to have any contact with us, so the stamps won't work.  But I didn't even think of that.  I'll have to reserve that idea for another time.
