Hi!

I just moved this from the toy section.  I've been making lots of crocheted toys lately, and I never know whether to post them on the crochet board or on the toy board.  On second thought, this guy probably fits better in the crochet area.

He is Lupin III, master thief, who if you don't know, is the star of an anime series and several movies.  My husband is really into this particular series and I'd been getting up the nerve to make Lupin for him for quite awhile.  I had a couple of days when my husband was at work and I was at home, so I finally tackled the project.

The absolute hardest part about making him was the sport coat.  I honestly don't know how it actually ended up resembling a jacket at all.  I just visualized a sport coat and cut, trimmed, and sewed until it look reasonably right.  I was pretty proud of myself after finishing and my husband was very happy to be surprised by him after a Saturday at work.

=chuckles= My first thought was "the legs are too short!" because what few episodes I've seen, Lupin seems to have mile-long legs... but that's just my twisted mine.

He's great!  Grin

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.
