Wow! I love it! That is sooo darn cute. I have a buttload of pillowcases begging to made into something and I'm kinda sick of making skirts: http://www.craftster.org/yabbse/index.php?board=8;action=display;threadid=32

Your instructions are really nice. I can't wait to check out the rest of your site.

Thanks for sharing this idea!

ahhh! i love lekkner! I check it all the time, although I've never ordered because I'm from canada, and money orders are a pain, and I don't have a credit card.

that shirt is too cute!

That is such a nifty idea, thanks for the how-to's! I want to make me one, but I am also thinking I could use the same idea to make dresses for my daughters, there are so many cute kids pillowcases that would really look fantastic as cool comfy dresses, or they could also use them as a beach/pool cover-up.

yeah, i think that would work, adding side panels.  you could try to get 2 of the same pillowcases, or make it kind of crazy by using some kind of contrasting fabric. or maybe use a solid that matches the bias around the armholes.

This shirt is perfect for a boob-less wonder like myself!  Who knew that being shaped like a tree trunk would be so fashionable?  I might have to make myself a dozen of these babies.

It was super easy to make.  I had to cut some slits in the sides so that it sat a bit nicer on my hips.  But other than that it worked out pretty good.  I might use a better pillow case next time.  This time i just used whatever i had lying around cuz i didnt know how it would turn out.  I am definately going to go out hunting for more pillowcases.

Oh and by the way, I am new here so I guess I should introduce myself.  My name is Mayana and I live in Canada.

I stumbled upon this site yesterday and instantly fell in love.  I can't wait to try more of the craft ideas on here and maybe come up with some of my own

I like your pillowcase as a shirt idea.  I recently got three bright flower pillowcases and have been thinking about making them into a dress, or maybe a skirt and matching top.

I found that tutorial last summer, BEFORE I found a yard sale at which I bought several boxes of various pillow case for 25 cents per box.  So, I am saving it for next summer.  It will work for my girls but if anyone comes up with a pillow case top for big ladies let me know.
