I have OCD - Obsessive Crafting Disorder

I started making handbags about 2 months ago and have since had 2 "purse parties" with lots of success.  Since then, people who have purchased have gotten great response and questions from people on where they can get one of their own.  While I'm REALLY excited about this, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed about the response.  I'm working on getting a website up but don't want to rush into anything until it's perfect and I feel like I have enough inventory.  I'm worried that if the wait is too long that potential customers will lose interest.  Any suggestions on what a good turnaround time should be?  I thought maybe 2 weeks? I hope this is all making sense!

2 weeks sounds right, pretty good actually.....especially if you're counting delivery/shipping time.
I think 3 weeks is good too if you want a little less pressure.

Good Luck and let us know about your website when it's up.....

I would suggest putting up a front page listing your e-mail address on a registered domain name. Also, pass out your e-mail address on business cards to these potentially interested people. That way they have a way to contact you.

As far as turnaround I give 2-3 weeks on special orders plus the shipping time (usually 3 days, I send everything priority mail). I think that is reasonable for something special and specific.

Good luck!
