Hi everyone, I'm new here.  I was just wondering if anyone has any patterns for crocheting earrings?  I saw in the completed project forum all these wonderful designs, and was hoping that someone would share where they got the patterns from.  Is there a link for online?  Any help would be appreciative.  Thank you.......Sharon Smiley

I searched CPC for "earring" and here's what came up:

Earrings

My favorites are the Dare to be Different Earring Collection.  I haven't made them but they're sooo pretty. Grin

Aren't you the most darling thing, crosette!
Those are great patterns.

Could you do a check as quickly for knitted earrings?
Please. Pretty please. My crocheting hasn't been up to snuff for 40 some years.

I tried making earrings with embroidery floss and a size 3 hook, but the thread just kept splitting.  Has anyone else had this problem or was it just the brand I was using?  I think I'm going to try again (after perfecting the pattern with regular-size yarn and hook) with thin crochet cotton.

Embroidery floss isn't twisted to hold together for knitting or crocheting.  It helps if you twist as you go.  Just every now and againg, turn the hank of floss 5 or 6 times.  You'll learn how much twisting you need to keep it together.

OK, here is a link that I found.  You have to scroll down.  They are the cute granny square earrings.  Check them out!
