I wish she would post some of  her stuff on here! She makes the most amazing stuff with flat backed crystals and she makes these gorgeous lampworked beads.  She is getting ready to have her own website, but so far she can't even keep things in stock...they keep selling so fast!  I think she sold this to someone who lives in Spain!

Me and my mom (mostly my mom) made some like these a little while back. Well, the same idea, the pictures inside were differant. I think they're so cool! The picture your friend used is awesome!

Yeah...the picture makes the pendant!  On the back she has flatback crystals and her logo...I love those old fashioned glamour pictures and the bits of antique lace are a nice touch too!

I love making these and have taken it to a new level with double sided bezel settings for the extra special collages. The bezel setting is not "craft" priced, so those are the higher end pieces. All flat back crystals are applied by hand and all are Swarovski crystal. Nothing sparkles like the good stuff!
I just sold another one at a family gathering yesterday. I feel a bit "dirty" doing business at a holiday gathering, ha ha - um, not.

Here's a new one, going to live with my Mother for Christmas. It is surrounded by some beads that I made, but they aren't part of this project, they just looked good together for composition sake! This is a sterling silver double sided bezel, it has been cut to fit the size of the pendant, then shaped and soldered and pickled, then polished and set. The front of the pendant is embellished with flat back swarovski crystals.
