I want a pattern (knit or crochet) for gloves. yet when i search I always find fingerless gloves. Are gloves with fingers hard to make or is the no fingers thing just a fad? Is it so wrong to want full fingered gloves Sad

Check the library for a book called A Knitter's Handy Guide to Patterns (I think).  It's by Ann Budd.  I feel like a bit of a dork because I always recommend her book but it has patterns for gloves using whatever gauge and yarn you choose.  The chart format LOOKS daunting but it's super easy once you realize how it's set up.

The book also had patterns for mitts, hats, sweaters...you know, most "basic" knit items.  There aren't any fun stripes or intarsia to these patterns but you can always customize it to suit your needs.

Good luck!
