so i was at Michael's yesterday staring at their wall o glue and i couldn't find anything that actually just said silicone glue, so i was wondering if you could recommend a specific brand to look for?  or is it possible to use a different type of glue?  thank you!

You could just use some kind of tough white glue, like wood glue or something.

I made this tutorial ages ago, and the glues I use most now for my book projects are 3M super 88 spray gule, white PVA wood glue, and yamato sticking paste

Thanks for this tutorial! I got all inspired and went to the thrift store and made an awesome find! A vintage hardcover Rex Stout Nero Wolfe book! Nero Wolfe is my favorite! So I will definitely be turning it into a sketchbook thanks to your tut!
