so here's a wallet i made for my friend for her birthday. im pretty new at sewing but i think i did a good job with this one. i just used some leftover fabric and the hearts are made of felt and simply glued on.

Wow!  A zipper on your first one!?!?!?  I'm impressed.  Keep up the good work.  This is cute!

And hoping for an early death you swam so far you lost your breath, and struggling in the ebb and flow I took your hand, but you let go...
And now the ocean fills your lungs, and now you've got what you had come for, resting peaceful as you sink to drown under a sea of strangers.

This is a pretty big project for a beginner sewer.  Love the lace idea.  Haven't seen that before but it really looks nice on the wallet.

What type of closure do you have on your wallet?  Snap? Velcro? Button?  It looks so secure.

I know your friend will love it

i used velcro. actually before this, i made a tote bag. maybe ill post pictures of it later. but it was pretty easy to pick up especially since my mom was really good at it.
