Ok, so I was reading through this board trying to find some online mags for christmas gifts (I'm making all mine this year).  I didn't see this in any of the topics, so sorry if it's been posted before, but I just found a great new online magazine, and it's free!  It's called MenKnit: http://www.menknit.net/mag.html  I totally recommend it, it's got some pretty off beat stuff, but it's got great patterns for gifts for the guys in your life, and it's great if you know any guy knitters, I know there are a bunch out there.  Ok that's my rant I just think it's freaking awesome!

That is freaking awesome.  I showed my brother the Bike Helmet Ear Warmers, and he wants to make them for Dad for Christmas.  Of course, he's ten and has a short attention span, but he can knit and purl, so it's a start.

Did your brother ever make them?

Sad No...he lost interest.  I saved the pattern printout, though...in case I can convince him that there's more to life than the Gamecube.
